Swimwear, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, water, a change of clothes and government ID if requested. Keep valuables and single-use plastic at the hotel or in a waterproof bag.
Stay with the guide and boat group, use the fitted mask and fins, and do not stand on or touch coral. Do not snorkel after alcohol or if unwell; signal the guide if you feel tired.
