About This Activity
Night kayaking in Havelock’s mangrove creeks is one of the island’s most distinctive eco-adventures. On suitable moonless or darker nights, movement in the water can trigger visible bioluminescent glow, creating a surreal paddling experience. Beyond the glow, the activity itself is loved for its calm atmosphere, guided nature, and rare perspective of the island after sunset.
Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon and visibility depends on darkness, season, tide, and water conditions.
