Choosing an Andaman boat ticket starts with two questions: where are you staying, and what would you like to do on the island? A heritage visit from Port Blair, a North Bay outing and an Elephant Beach visit from Havelock each need a different booking.

Our boat ticket booking activities cover five round-trip options. Here is how to compare them before choosing your date.

Choose by the experience you want

For history and island walks: Ross Island Round Trip focuses on colonial ruins, shaded pathways and sea views. Its shorter listed duration makes it easier to fit around other Port Blair plans.

For a single island with optional activities: North Bay Round Trip gives you boat access and time to explore. You can look into Glass Bottom Boat at North Bay separately if you would like an additional experience without entering the water.

For two stops in one outing: Ross Island & North Bay Round Trip combines heritage scenery with a coastal island visit. The boat fare is separate from optional water activities and any separately charged island entry.

For a beach outing while staying on Havelock: Elephant Beach Round Trip departs from Swaraj Dweep. Consider Snorkeling at Elephant Beach as a separate booking if a guided snorkelling session is part of your plan.

For a protected island setting: Jolly Buoy Round Trip uses Wandoor Jetty. Confirm access permissions and operating availability for your chosen date before arranging the rest of the day.

Match the boarding point to your hotel location

Elephant Beach tickets are for travel from Havelock; they do not replace your journey from Port Blair to Havelock. North Bay passengers self-report at Aberdeen Jetty, while Jolly Buoy passengers self-report at Wandoor Jetty. Follow the exact reporting instructions in your confirmation for every route.

Hotel transfers are excluded from the North Bay, combined Ross–North Bay and Elephant Beach ticket listings. Ross Island lists pickup support on request where selected, so arrange that explicitly if needed.

Budget beyond the boat fare

Keep a separate allowance for meals, local transport, optional experiences and entry or permit charges where applicable. A boat ticket should not be treated as an all-inclusive sightseeing package.

For example, adding a water activity to Elephant Beach means coordinating both the activity appointment and the return boat. Ask about the available time on the island before booking several sessions.

Before you book

Choose your route, check the departure date and passenger details, review inclusions, and read the cancellation terms. Keep your confirmation and photo ID ready, and follow the operator's final return instructions. Sea conditions and local clearance can change the schedule.

Compare the current boat ticket booking activities and choose the outing that fits your stay, interests and available time.
